When you add social bookmarking to your internet marketing mix, make sure your website is ready for visitors with good, keyword-focused content.
For starters, begin social bookmarking through MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter, which is the latest trend and lots of fun to boot! http://www.twitter.com
Make sure you fill out your profile with your website url for each one. With Twitter, you add short snippets of info about what you’re doing. If you add something new to your site, tell people and make sure you link to it so they can go check it out.
StumbleUpon is a good site for social bookmarking, too. http://www.stumbleupon.com . Once again, make sure your website thumbnail is on your home page so people can go to it.
No matter where you start, though, make sure you are a contributing member of the community and not there just to promote your own interests. It’s boring and people will soon see that your there for your own purposes.
