  1. Yea, but those commercials make big corporations money which they then use to “lobby” congress… you know, steak dinners, booze, lap dances, etc…

And besides, those commercials are for “dot net” sites. And we all know there’s no gambling on “dot net” sites, right?! LMAO!

  2. What I don’t get is in Canada and US you can’t advertise for ‘online gambling’ with search engines, yet I see TV commercials every day for online gambling websites?? WTF!!???

  3. Thank you so much! Good to know you’re out there helping support the industry!

  4. I think what you’re saying is one of a few very real possibilities. I, too, used to think that things looked bleak for affiliates. However, with the EU and WTO involved… with Euro companies finding ways to get into the US through loopholes… with offshore gaming companies paying fines and talking to state’s about software… I have felt pretty optimistic the past year or so that Affiliate Marketing will survive. =0)

  5. Yup. Money was the reason UIGEA was passed. Money is the reason people have been arrested. Money is the reason the US Government does just about everything they do… irregardless of how many flags they wrap themselves in… or how moving and patriotic their useless, self serving speeches are.

And…. where did all the money Party Gaming paid to the government go to? Wonder what “program” got those funds? Sounds like the US government is the only one getting rich on internet gaming.

Great video, JTodd. Very informative week – well put together. In regard to Imega losing case, I really believe it behooves US affiliates to have things remain status quo (put in the context of post-UIGEA legislation). Reversal of UIGEA would surely open the door for US land-based casinos to enter this market, and I personally believe, that act would be the death-knell for affiliates. In any event, keep up the good works !

  8. Once again, another great and insightful video; entertaining and funny as well!

  9. The “glitch” appears to be within the original footage and i somehow affecting playback here on You Tube.

There is no way to fix it. Sorry =0(

    Good Show

  11. Thanks you!

We have a technical “glitch” near the end of the program, where it sticks…

If this issue can be remedied, we will have to remove this video and repost a new one.

  12. Much better ticker this week!
